Choose me

I was lying on my couch, playing my new copy of Pokémon x/y when I made it to the point in which I was to choose my starter.

-I've waited for this moment for a while now, but it's finally the time to choose my starter.-

Well, you can't really call it "choosing" when you already know which one you are going to pick...

-Fennekin, I choose you! I said, just for the nostalgia.-

But right after I pressed the A button, my screen went black and my 3ds started getting really hot, which made me drop it on the floor, but strangely, it didn't break.

-Why would my screen go black, my 3ds had full battery and it is almost new!- I said, with evident surprise and anger in my voice.

I would have kept complaining about it, if I hadn't noticed the fact that my hands had begun sprouting light yellow fur-like hair along with a tingling sensation.

-What in the heavens name is happening to me?- I said, and I started panicking when the fur started to spread down my arms. After it had consumed them entirelly, I felt it spread down all over my torso with increasing speed.

I made a run for it towards my bathroom, in which I had a full body mirror, so I could see most of my body at the same time

After I took of my pants and my shirt (I still had my underwear), I saw that the fur had spread all over my legs and was starting to claim my feet.

As for my face, the fur was pure white on my lower half, and it was extending outwards. As for my upper half, the fur was light-yellow, like the fur that surrounded most of my body. My hair started to get shorter and change in color, to the exact same light shade of yellow.

After my whole body was covered in fur, I noticed something. The whole bathroom was bigger than I remembered. After I paid enough attention, I noticed that it wasn't bigger. I was shrinking, and fast. While I was shrinking, I felt my underwear slide down my legs due to that they were too small to offer any support to my boxers. I was getting extremely scared at this point.

After it stopped I had to hold a scream of pain when my face started to push out to become a muzzle and my teeth get sharper, by the mirror, I could see my nose shrink and turn black.

I felt my ears go to the top of my head and get really, really big and I felt tickles as they grew red tufts of hair.

I heard a really loud snap, and after that I found it impossible to stand on 2 legs. After a moment, I noticed that my arms were no longer arms, they were legs, and my hands were paws! When I looked back, I saw that my "legs" were almost identical to their front counterpart.

After a few seconds, I felt an INCREDIBLY strong pain from the tip of my spinal cord. When I looked back, I was greeted by the sight of a big, brushy thing that was also light-yellow mainly, but at the tip it was the same tone if red as my ears. I could only assume it was my tail.

When I saw myself in the mirror, I noticed that my eyes were no longer dark brown, but they were the same tone of red as the tip of my "tail" and they were quite larger.

-Fennekin?- *what has hap...?* -Fennekin!- *What, my voice!*

And then it hit me. I had turned into a Fennekin. A creature that wasn't even supposed to exist, and only did in my imagination and my video-games

Just right after that, there was an extremely bright light, and everything went dark.

I woke up to the sight of a rather cute blonde girl with a bright pink hat, a black sleeve-less shirt and a red skirt.

-Hello Fennekin- she said with a sweet, calm voice- my name is Serena. Nice to meet you-

-Fennekin! Fennekin fen!- *Well, this might not be that bad!*
